Whenever you are down and whatever you are going through... always keep in mind that some people have it so much worse. As long as you are breathing, you are bound to be abundantly blessed! Just pen your eyes and pay attention to the little details that we tend to overlook in this fast-paced world. Remember, "It's the simple joys that make our life worthwhile." With this, we hope this blog will somehow leave a mark or be etched in your heart.

SUMMER!

Just a week left to most of my fellow college students and we're done with our first years in college. Who would've thought time would fly so fast! Not that I'm complaining. It's SUMMER! Time to put those books aside and rest those brains with tons of love and fun.

Summer classes.

Now how can that be fun, right? Say hi to another set of books and readings.

There's so much more to summer classes than books and examinations. Like me, let's make this summer special. Help me list down the fun stuff we can do this summer! Let's make those who don't have classes wish they do. I'll give a few, you do yours and make sure you do them this summer! Another Simple Joy in Life!

Yes classes means yes allowance! Allowance means you can save up more!
Meet more friends. Share the bitterness and make those frown into smiles.
Holy week. A week before classes start, take it.
Short semester means short sufferings. Just don't make your homework pile up.
More classes means more knowledge means more edge. You know what I mean.

Through the Lens

Everyone has atalent. I’m one of those who really work hard to find one. I can sing, butnot as good as Stevie Wonder (or even some karaoke singers you can hear whilepassing through some squatters area). I can somehow dance, but I think even Mr.Bean’s better than me. Other than those, what possibly could my talent be?Well, I think I already found it through what we call DSLR.

Yep, I like taking pictures whenever I feel it. There’s justsomething in it that I really love. The latest I had a “photo session” was whenwe went to Baguio. I took a lot of pictures in one of the restaurants we wentto. The restaurant has a garden-y setting and, I took advantage of the placeand took a lot of pictures of flowers. Here’s one (and I think the best :D)

Last year, I joined the Canon Photomarathon. Basically, it’slike a marathon but, of course, you need to take pictures. Two themes weregiven and the first one talks about the Philippines being a “city of jungle.”Here’s what I submitted as my first photo.

So there. JIn school, I’m usually the one bringing the camera when an event will happen.Here’s a picture from our block’s Community Building Activity.

And lastly, i'd like to share to you a little something I took from my current school. It's a statue of a man of virtue, and i wish i could just be like him someday. So help me God. :)
